Chechnya reportedly as fast or more Dim Music was banned.

According to the Moscow Times, the Ministry of Culture announced a ban on all types of music except music with a tempo between 80 and 116 beats per minute (BPM).

The new standard set for music is relatively dull to modern-day pop music, and its application will ban various types of Western music from being played in public.

According to Moscow Time, the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, instructed the Minister of Culture, Musa Dadaev, to adapt Chechen music to the Chechen mentality.

According to the news, the Minister of Culture said that taking music culture from other people is unacceptable.

The announcement regarding the ban was reportedly made after a meeting between the ministry and local artistes. However, artistes have been asked to rework their songs that do not meet the criteria by June 1 or they will not be allowed to play the songs in public.
