Cardiff: In the European country of Wales, 100 people set a Guinness World Record by playing tug-of-war for a distance of 1,694 feet.

People from Foundation College Sir Gar, Wells Young Farmers Club and Pembrey Country Park teamed up to play a game of tug-of-war with the help of a long rope at the park’s Siphon Sidan Beach.

The 50, 50-a-side teams were captained by Welsh rugby legends Scott Quinnell and Eleanor Snowsell.

The match, which lasted for one minute and 15 seconds, ended with the victory of Eleanor Snowsel’s team.
