Sydney: An Australian berry company has set a Guinness World Record by growing a blueberry weighing 20.4 grams.

A Guinness World Records official inspected a blueberry grown by Costa Berries, a company in the Australian state of Corrindy, and confirmed it to be the heaviest blueberry in the world.

Brad Hocking, head of the blueberry growing team, said the blueberries were picked in November last year and frozen until the company contacted Guinness World Records.

Brad Hawking said that his team has not decided what to do with the record holder Barry. Team members often see this and smile. They don’t think smoothies will be a good use of it.
