Riyadh: The moon of Ramadan has been sighted in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries, tomorrow will be the first day of fasting.

The Saudi Supreme Court had appealed to the citizens to see the moon of Ramadan on Sunday.

In Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and other Gulf countries, tomorrow, Monday, March 11, will be the 1st of Ramadan 1445 Hijri. Taraweeh prayer will be started in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi after Isha prayer today.

On the other hand, in Australia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Oman, the Ramadan moon was not sighted on Sunday, due to which March 12 will be the first day of Ramadan in these countries.
