Dubai: A passenger was detained after finding strange items in the luggage at Dubai International Airport.
According to the Khaleej Times report, customs authorities detained a passenger from an African country at Terminal One of Dubai International Airport after finding strange items.
Illegal items recovered from the passenger included a live snake, a monkey’s hand, eggs wrapped in cotton, a dead bird and an animal skin with various symbols on it.
The customs inspector said the items were handed over to Dubai’s Islamic Affairs Department, which confirmed that they were to be used for black magic.
According to customs officials, the suspect arrested for smuggling prohibited items used in “black magic” has been handed over to the Dubai Police.
It should be noted that it is illegal to practice black magic or attempt to smuggle witchcraft items into the UAE. People caught smuggling black magic items can be punished with imprisonment or fines.
Dubai Customs says that between 2018 and 2020, more than 68 kg of black magic items were seized at Dubai International Airport, including metal pieces, animal skins, black magic books, amulets, fish skeletons, rings. , nails, bones and blood were involved.
