Occupied Kashmir; 6 people died in heavy rains and landslides

Srinagar: Heavy rains and landslides in Occupied Kashmir killed 6 people and injured more than a dozen while 150 houses and schools were destroyed.

According to Kashmir Media Service, several incidents of landslides have occurred in Jammu region due to continuous rains. Large and heavy rocks that fell from the mountains destroyed buildings and schools.

More than 400 infrastructures were damaged in the rains and landslides, out of which 150 houses and schools were completely destroyed while many roads were partially damaged.

6 people died and more than a dozen were injured in the rains and landslides. Due to the critical condition of 4 of the injured, the death toll is expected to increase.

The meteorological department has issued instructions that the rains will continue for two to three days and landslides are also likely, so citizens should not leave their homes unnecessarily.
