Israel claims to have killed the third major leader of Hamas

Tel Aviv: The Israeli army has claimed that Marwan Isa, the third-in-command of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, was killed in one of their airstrikes.

According to Israeli media, the third senior leader of Hamas was killed in an airstrike three days ago, but the country’s military withheld the news from publication because they wanted time to confirm it.

The Israeli army has revealed the possibility that commander Marwan Isa was killed in an airstrike three days ago, a day after the attack. Before the attack, there was no idea that the commanders were there.

However, so far the Israeli army has not been able to collect evidence to confirm its claim, while on the other hand, Hamas has remained completely silent on the issue.

It should be noted that after the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, in December, it distributed 10,000 pamphlets among its soldiers, which contained the photos of 52 of the most wanted leaders of Hamas.

In this list of most wanted persons, after Yahya Sinwar and Muhammad Al-Zaif, Marwan Isa was on the third place. Israel had threatened to kill these 52 wanted leaders of Hamas by pursuing them at home or abroad.
