Bangalore: In the Indian state of Karnataka, the police detained 4 people on the charge of shouting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.

According to Indian media, local Congress leader Syed Naseer Hussain, who was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka, reached the Parliament in the form of a rally, and slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were raised.

The 3 citizens who were arrested for shouting Pakistan Zindabad belong to the opposition party Congress and have been identified as Altaz, Mohammad Nooshi Puri and Munoor.

After the arrest of the three, the police detained Ravi, a 40-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party activist who was booked for raising pro-Pakistan slogans during a protest in December 2022.

This protest of BJP was called against the then Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari calling Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi the butcher of Gujarat.

However, local BJP leaders say that Ravi only understands Kannada and did not know what he was shouting. He has been embroiled in a political trial by the Congress to save his workers.
