Karachi: Pakistan’s famous singer Aima Baig has explained the reason for breaking the engagement with actor Shehbaz Shagri and said that this decision was my own.

Recently, Aima Baig appeared as a guest on famous comedian actor and host Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast ‘Excuse me’ where she explained the reason behind her engagement break-up.

Talking about it, Aima Baig said that there were already many issues going on between us which people don’t know and I also don’t want to go into the details because some people were involved and I am now talking to those people. Do not want to expose.

Aima Baig said that marriage is not between two people but between two families and both of our families were very good, there were no problems between them but there were many things going on between the two of us (Aima Baig and Shehbaz Shagri). were, so it was our mutual decision to break the engagement but it was mainly my decision.

The singer said that things were not going well between us, that’s why I thought it better to end the relationship and when I announced it on social media, people misunderstood me, the other person in the relationship (Shahbaz Shagri). No one said anything and just cursed me.

Talking about facing trolling related to engagement breakup and conflict, Aima Baig said, “My family acted as a support system for me, my brother and sister used to hide the social media trolling from me but I knew. What was going on?

Aima Baig said that people’s trolling not only damaged my reputation and peace of mind but also criticized my parents, sister and brother.

The singer got emotional and added that when all this was happening in my life, I had suicidal thoughts.
