23 civilians killed in Venezuela gold mine collapse; The video went viral

Carax: In the South American country of Venezuela, citizens were extracting gold from an illegal mine when the mine collapsed, resulting in the death of 23 citizens.

According to the World News Agency, this incident happened in the forest of Bolivar state of Venezuela, where there are gold deposits. Citizens were searching for gold in Bola Loka, one of these gold mines.

Meanwhile, the mine suddenly collapsed and more than 50 people were buried under the debris. At the time of the gold mine accident, some people were also making a video which went viral on social media.

During the rescue operations, 23 bodies have been recovered so far, while more than a dozen people were recovered in injured condition. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where the condition of 6 injured is critical, and the death toll is expected to increase.

An inquiry committee was formed to investigate the accident. Mining accidents are common in Venezuela. More than 12 people were killed in one such accident.
