Boston: A library within the US has returned vinyl data after greater than 47 years. The document was to be returned on October 27, 1978.

In keeping with the Jamaica Plain department of the Boston Public Library in Boston, Massachusetts, library administration was emptying the return bin once they discovered music band Junior Walker and the All Stars. Obtained a vinyl document of the album Anthology.

The album cowl featured a punch card from the Eggleston Sq. department library the place the document was a real a part of its assortment.

In keeping with the library, the document is now not within the library’s system, as not one of the Boston Public Library branches now carry vinyl data.

The library officers stated that they have no idea who took out the album or who returned it. However no penalty is imposed for late return.
