Mumbai: The CBI has began an investigation into allegations of taking bribes for certificates on the Indian Movie Censor Board.
Tamil actor Vishal has alleged that he needed to pay a bribe of Rs 6.5 lakh for the certificates of the Hindi model of his movie ‘Mark Antony’.
In response to Indian media, CBI has began an inquiry by registering an FIR in opposition to three individuals and a few unknown individuals.
The investigating company has additionally carried out raids at 4 locations in Mumbai, together with the residences of the individuals listed within the FIR.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered an FIR in opposition to Marilyn Maniga, Jeeja Ramdas, Rajan M and a Censor Board official.
