Athens: French President Emmanuel Macron mentioned the French ambassador had been “held hostage” by Niger’s new army administration.

In response to international media, Emmanuel Macron mentioned throughout his go to to the northwestern city of Samour-en-Auxois that we have now ambassadors and diplomats in Niger who’ve been taken hostage within the French embassy.
