Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary and Asian Cricket Council chief Jay Shah met Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and invited him to observe the matches as a particular visitor.
Jay Shah gave golden tickets to Amitabh Bachchan to observe World Cup matches, the images of which went viral on social media. The ODI Cricket World Cup will start in India from October 5, whereas the nationwide group will play its first match within the event towards the Netherlands on October 6.
The mega occasion between Pakistan and India is scheduled to happen on October 14 on the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.
