A number of showbiz personalities have strongly condemned the vandalism and burning of a number of church buildings after the alleged blasphemy in Jaranwala Tehsil of Faisalabad, the second largest metropolis of Punjab.
After the incident of alleged desecration of the Quran in Jaranwala final day, offended protesters stormed the Christian inhabitants and set hearth to a number of church buildings.
The Salvation Military Church, United Press Baptist Church and Shahronwala Church in Isa Nagri had been vandalized.
Actress Azika Daniel wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ that ‘This isn’t Jinnah’s Pakistan, I strongly condemn this cruelty towards the Christian group’.

Senior actress Nadia Jameel requested, ‘The place are all of the so-called human rights activists? The place are the individuals who raised their voices towards this cruelty and this unhappy act of the Christian group of Pakistan?
Expressing remorse over the Jardanwala incident, he wrote that ‘these are the individuals who defame Pakistan, they need to be put in jail’.
Actress Mahira Khan additionally lamented the incident of vandalism and burning of church buildings and mentioned that ‘we needs to be ashamed’.
