Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree obligating armed group members to take the army oath, two days after the assault The leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was killed in a plane crash near Moscow.
On Friday, Putin signed the decree that might oblige components of irregular armed teams to take the army oath, simply as military troopers do.
In line with the textual content of the decree printed by the Russian authorities’s web site, these components are required to pledge “loyalty” and “loyalty” to Russia, and to “strictly adjust to the orders of commanders and (higher-ranking) officers.”
This decree comes two months after Wagner’s insurrection, led by Prigozhin, towards the Russian army management.
The chief of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, died in a aircraft crash close to Moscow two days in the past, and the Russian Civil Aviation Authority mentioned that Prigozhin was on board the non-public aircraft that crashed.
The Kremlin mentioned right this moment, Friday, that the non-public army group Wagner doesn’t have an official authorized presence.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov advised a press convention that Wagner exists as a gaggle that made a “nice contribution” to the Russian army marketing campaign in Ukraine, and praised the “heroism” of its fighters.
