The Federal Board of Income (FBR) has recorded a fee of two.4 p.c on annual foundation over the last monetary 12 months by way of gross sales tax collections.

Based on the information of the Ministry of Finance, FBR has collected income of Rs 2.592 trillion from gross sales tax within the monetary 12 months 2023, which is 2.4% extra in comparison with the monetary 12 months 2022.

Based on the information, within the monetary 12 months 2022, the FBR obtained Rs 2.532 trillion in gross sales tax income.

Within the final quarter of the final monetary 12 months, the FBR collected revenues of $691 billion from gross sales tax, which is 4 p.c greater than the final quarter of the fiscal 12 months 2022. R obtained 666 billion rupees.
