A security guard at the British embassy in Germany has been convicted of spying for Russia.
According to details, 58-year-old British Embassy security guard David Ballantine Smith was caught in a sting operation after delivering sensitive material to the Russian Embassy in Germany.

A former security guard at Britain’s Berlin embassy who spied for Russia has been jailed for more than 13 years under the Official Secrets Act.

David Ballantyne Smith was caught in a sting operation after more than three years of passing sensitive material to the Russian embassy in Germany, including “secret” government contacts with former prime minister Boris Johnson.
